Alison Sibaja Baltodano was born in Costa Rica and moved to Georgia in second grade, where she was placed in third grade. Growing up, she spent her summers visiting Costa Rica and considers herself a “hybrid native” of both Atlanta and her birthplace.
Alison’s path to becoming an attorney was inspired by her desire to help others, fueled by personal experiences in which she watched loved ones face the consequences of poor legal representation. As a first-generation college student, pursuing law initially seemed daunting, but with the help of some great professional examples and her own self-reflection, she discovered that practicing law was her true calling.
While attending Georgia State University College of Law, Alison focused on gaining hands-on experience to prepare for her career in personal injury law. She worked with a federal magistrate judge and an administrative law judge in employment law, contributed to the immigration clinic, and held leadership roles as Secretary and later Vice President of the Latinx & Caribbean Law Student Association (LCLSA).

She also served as Secretary of OUTlaw. Alison’s final semester working with Deitch & Rogers solidified her passion for personal injury law. Through involvement in organizations like the Georgia Latino Law Foundation and various legal organizations, Alison developed strong mentorship connections and immersed herself in Atlanta’s legal community.
As a personal injury attorney, Alison’s favorite part of the job is helping people navigate challenging circumstances. She is driven by her passion for helping clients and finding a resolution to their case that maximizes justice for them.
Alison loves living in Atlanta for its diversity, vibrant food scene, and its convenient location—though she’s quick to grab a direct flight to Costa Rica whenever she can. In her free time, Alison enjoys hiking, relaxing in her hammock, or exploring new restaurants. She also enjoys movies, television, and gaming.
Alison and her partner share their home with Bruce, a 5-year-old Peekapoo, and a playful 3-month-old golden doodle, Mylo.
